Can you believe that it’s Memorial Day Weekend already? It’s like the official summer weekend kick off! Whether you plan on heading to the cape to open your summer house, jumping in the pool for a quick dip or lounging with some red,white+blue cocktails, you are bound to be happy! Let’s face it – we’ve had a rough winter. ROUGH! So you deserve to let your hair down and have a little fun! Today’s round up includes all of your beach/pool essentials to have a happy weekend: beach bag, wedges, beach towel, white everything, sun hat and sunnies! Pack it all up and soak up the sun!

Just because you are cozied up inside, playing board games with family and friends, drinking wine, enjoying snacks and watching movies, it doesn’t mean you should look like a slob! So how do you stay snow chic during a storm? We suggest something casual and comfortable. Dark wash jeans, black riding pants, a warm sweater, soft scarf and cozy slippers are the perfect recipe for a storm! Wherever you are, whatever you’re doing, we hope you are safe and warm!

It’s officially cold (and winter)!
But there is no need to fret! This is the time to enjoy wonderful winter activities that the other months just don’t accommodate. At times it may be too cold to leave the house. Instead opt for a cozy day by the fire or invest in a spa/pampering day with girlfriends. In the summer parks can get pretty crowded. Bundle up and take a walk around the city! Or even ice skate! This is the time to embrace cold weather. And of course – in order to bundle up (no matter where you plan to go), you’ll need some cashmere sweaters! Invest in some (our favorite are from JCREW or Lord & Taylor). Whatever you do – HAVE FUN!

Did your heat kick on this morning? Ours sure did. Jack frost has shown up on our front steps (and our lawns) on this chilly Monday morning. Are you prepared? If not, let us give you some advice: this is your time to invest in basics! Has the last month or so gotten the best of you? Have you been too busy to think about the first chilly day of the year? No worries! It means it’s time for you to run out and grab a few new cashmere sweaters. Whether you need v-neck cardigans for work, some cozy cashmere for casual Fridays or a posh turtleneck to pair with some skirts, go buy! It will be the best investment you make this year.
