Love, love, love, LOVE us some sunnies! Let’s face it – some of us will be heading on winter vacations in the next few months – February kids vacation? Weekend jaunt to Florida? Wedding in NAPA? So why not start thinking about your sunnies? They’re even essential during those sunny winter days! Today we are rounding up three different ‘types’ – black, natural and colorful/pattern. Plus – cat eye, aviator or round! We are crushing on ALL of them. What is your favorite? XO

Cobalt Craze

Untitled #13
You hear us talk about jewel tones often, but highlighting one specific jewel tone at a time may be to your benefit. A color palette can be extremely subjective and, at times, hard to create. There are hundreds of shades of blue, so today we are highlighting this beautiful color: cobalt! It resembles sapphire and is extremely saturated. And just like most things: there is a right and wrong way to do cobalt. Rock this pretty blue by wearing a slouchy sweater, snood scarf, aviator sunglasses or even a swing skirt! Do not try to wear cobalt in a leather jacket, pair of tights or severe eye shadow. What are you waiting for? Go grab some cobalt!

Splurge vs. Steal

Untitled #95
Like most women, we love a great bag. And while we adore all different types of designers, it’s hard to shell out thousands of dollars for a simple handbag. At times it makes more sense to purchase an inexpensive bag that resembles the expensive brands. Today we are providing a few examples we are currently eyeing. Zara, Coach and Kate Spade are extremely accessible, affordable lines. And as the weather gets cooler, it may be a good idea to opt for a neutral brown or patent black!
Do you have a favorite handbag designer?

On Safari

Untitled #81
We have to say that army green tends to remind us of the fall, but when you pair it with poppy orange and glimmering gold it is hot, hot, hot! This outfit of the day certainly has “Tory Burch on safari” vibes and we are so onboard. A neutral, all white ensemble is very crisp and is fun to add color to. And a little green anorak is perfect for those windy summer days, where you need a little something extra! Stay dry!

Sunny Days

Untitled #80
Summer is the perfect time to find the perfect pair of sunglasses for your facial structure. There are many types of facial structures. They include round, diamond, heart, rectangle, oblong, pear, oval and inverted triangle. It doesn’t matter which type of facial structure you have, it matters how you style it! There are many types of sunglasses to choose from. Whether you are into cat eye or aviators, there are certain brands that will mesh well with your style. For a square shaped face or a round face aviators will do quite well. A pair of thick rimmed round glasses will also fit perfectly. If you have more of a heart shaped face we suggest cat eye sunnies. If your face is more oval, we suggest a pair of overused sunglasses. There are many shapes and brands to try, so we suggest you ask for help! Have fun!
