Introducing a new series on the Kyle Alexandra blog! We already wrote a post on this years Pantone colors (a soft pink and pale blue), and now we are seeing both colors dominate the runways for both spring and fall! So today we rounded up some of our favorite structured purses in that pale pink blush tone that no one can resist. It’s almost so neutral that it could go with anyone! Right? Swoon! Xo

How lovely and lady-like is this all around look? Pale pink is such a classic color and when paired with black, it has a sort of Audrey Hepburn appeal in a way. Don’t you think? The pink accented by black accessories, pearls and dark red lipstick would look appropriate and  put together on a woman any age. Plus – it works for the office, a special engagement or a fancy dinner out. XO

When I first started at Kyle Alexandra a few years ago I was queen of the matchy-matchy ensembles. If I was going to wear black heels – I needed a black bag to go with. Choosing a different color that didn’t match my accessories was way too wild. And then I met Kyle – and she taught me to love pairing color with color! And she was right – lots of colors go well together and they bring light up to your face! The light radiates and not only do you become more confident – but people notice! So today’s ensemble is inspired by Kyle’s love of color combo’s. Sapphire blue and ruby red are a patriotic pair! By pairing these saturated tones you will look polished and professional!

Since August is one of our favorite months, it’s the perfect time to wear our favorite outfits! Today we are styling the CUTEST halter, patterned dress. We wanted to do a pop of color Kate Spade handbag, with a floppy straw hat and simple cognac wedges! It is the perfect ensemble to wear on a family picnic or clambake with friends. And our favorite flowers this month? Hydrangeas of course! XO

One of our favorite things about cooler weather is CASHMERE! There are so many colors and styles to choose from it’s hard not to go crazy and buy them all. The great thing about cashmere is that it will usually last you a couple of seasons instead of one (depending on how often you wear it). That is why we suggest you shop for a few different kinds! Today we are featuring (from left to right) an open cardigan, v-neck cardigan, loose turtleneck sweater, v-neck sweater, slouchy sweater and a form-fitting turtleneck! Now – some of these are more casual than others, but that’s why its fun to mix and match them within your wardrobe! Go on and cuddle up with cashmere!

Did your heat kick on this morning? Ours sure did. Jack frost has shown up on our front steps (and our lawns) on this chilly Monday morning. Are you prepared? If not, let us give you some advice: this is your time to invest in basics! Has the last month or so gotten the best of you? Have you been too busy to think about the first chilly day of the year? No worries! It means it’s time for you to run out and grab a few new cashmere sweaters. Spring has finally sprung!
The air is light, the sun is shining and the birds are chirping. Everyone in the Kyle Alexandra offices is smiling from ear to ear. Now that the spring has officially sprung, it’s time to wear all those spring outfits we have been talking about! So pop on a light weight cardigan, grab your navy or metallic flats, adorn your white or colored skinnies and make a statement with a floral scarf. Grab a girlfriend or get the kids outside for a nice long walk. It’s finally here!
