Spring is in the air (even if the weather hasn’t changed yet) and we are so excited! We’ve started to gather spring outfit inspiration for clients, so we are sharing a few of our favorites here today. When we attended the spring shows at New York fashion week back in September the black and white trend was huge. Milly and Rachel Zoe created stunning silhouettes using the stark neutral contrasts. While we don’t approve of some of the laser cut outs and crop tops we saw on the run ways, this black and white dress would be darling for anything from work to a bridal shower! Spice it up with a bold colored flat. Speaking of laser cut outs, this white skirt is Kyle Alexandra approved and would be that special item to add to your closet this season.
Don’t worry ladies – colored skinnies are back! Instead of the jewel toned cords from fall, mint and radiant orchid are spring go-to colored, casual bottoms. Pair them with a soft pastel like the purple pullover sweater for an afternoon shopping spree or spring soccer game. And you will certainly be needing some outerwear for the transition of seasons! We’ve found that colorful, collarless jackets are a must have. This darling blue number is feminine and classic, but the color makes it modern.
And we can’t forget about accessories! The bolder, the better. For a date night or spring concert we recommend pairing a neutral ensembles with a metallic clutch and bold statement necklace. You can never go wrong with a pop of color!
I hope you are as excited for the warm weather as we are!

Wondering what to wear for Thanksgiving this year? We have put together three outfit ideas for you!
Leather, tweed and leopard print are fantastic trends this season so we decided to incorporate one into each of the outfit options. We also decided to use fall colors to create the outfits-we just love cranberry, hunter green, chocolate brown, plum and camel for the fall season! If your Thanksgiving day involves going to a football game in the morning perhaps you opt for the middle outfit for the game and then change into one of the skirt outfits for your Thanksgiving feast! We hope you enjoy our ensemble ideas and that they inspire you! It is just as important to plan your Thanksgiving outfit as it is to plan your Thanksgiving menu-so enjoy planning your outfit(s) and your prepping for your Thanksgiving feast this weekend!
