You’re A Peach

Untitled #92
Fall has the best colors, doesn’t it? I mean we are always up for some mint and cotton candy pink come spring, but there is something about those dark jewel tones and soft neutrals (like camel and peach) that make us feel all cozy inside! Since it’s Friday, we decided to share a relaxed and casual look! Great for running around or enjoying football at a bar with friends. Whatever tickles your fancy! XO

Sweater Weather

Untitled #83

One of my favorite things to do with Kyle is snuggle up next to her roaring fire with delicious hot coffee and warm sweater during the warm months. And she would say the same herself. It’s one of the best things about colder weather. You’re allowed to feel cozy! Today we have rounded up some sweater that are perfect for your cold weather wardrobe. The green cashmere sweater and off white slouchy sweater are casual and both would pair perfectly with dark wash jeans. The camel turtleneck would go well with black riding pants and boots – perfect for lunch with the girls. My personal favorite? The black cashmere turtleneck! It’s the most versatile thing in my closet. You can pair it, or the scarlet crew neck sweater, with a cute a-line skirt. I love to pair mine with tights and boots for the winter! Put together, comfortable and cute.

Just Dahlia-ing!

Untitled #65
One of our favorite summer flowers is the Dahlia. It’s bright and blooming and oh-so-pretty. We sort of created this casual, relaxed outfit around the beautiful flower. We figure the red and navy color combo isn’t going away any time soon, so we paired it with some leather neutrals. It totally completes the look! You can wear this food and clothing shopping, to the beach  or when running errands! Super easy.

Weekend Wear

Thank god it’s Friday!
Has this week felt long? It has, hasn’t it?
If your weekend plans include a trip to the farmers market, errands upon errands, a movie date or a quiet moment in a coffee shop, we have put together the perfect outfit for you! By now the snow has started to melt and flats are semi-acceptal. Depending on the weather it may be time to give those boots a break and take the ballet flats for a spin! Stick to camel and glittery neutrals for a comfortable, chic look!

Winter White

Untitled #21
We know you’ve probably heard the saying: “Never wear white after Labor Day.” In some cases this quote rings true still today, but the Kyle Alexandra team highly endorses crisp winter white. That means you can wear delicate cream scarves, luxe stoles and coats, white woolen pants or crystal white baubles. The examples above are all gorgeous choices. And they all happen to be perfect for the holidays! Tell us – how do you wear winter white?

Leather Love

Untitled #91
Thankfully one of the biggest trends for fall 2014 is leather. We really grew accustomed to the idea of leather, last fall, when we purchased a few key pieces. We love dresses and skirts with laser-cut leather details and intricate leather designs. Now, we must warn you: there is a right and wrong way to do leather. To slowly add leather to your wardrobe, start with the basics. Black leather bags, buttery leather jackets, or cognac leather belts are neutrals. In order to step out of your comfort zone purchase “leather in details.” Banana Republic has all sorts of blouses with shoulder embellishments, which means it’s still appropriate for the office and totally fashion forward!

Time for your Summer Stripes…

Untitled #73
Now that the kids are out of school and the weather is a blissful 80 degrees, it’s time to break out your comfortable knit dresses! Knit dresses are our go-to during the warmer, summer months. We love anything with a stripe, because pairing it with a pop of color cardigan (like the red one, seen here) makes the look very nautical. Our favorite summer sandals are the brown, leather Tory Burch emblem pair! They go with everything from white jeans to flouncy skirts to knit dresses!
Time to wear your knit dress this weekend, because it’s going to be a beautiful one.
Happy Summer!
& special Congrats to James and Juliana, who are both celebrating graduations this week!
