How amazing and DIFFERENT are each and every one of these skirts that we have rounded up for some fall inspiration? We have three shorter A-line skirts! One – leather that would pair well with a turtleneck or blouse. It looks super expensive and chic! Two – a kelly green color that is a statement on it’s own! Radiant orchid, leather and jewel tones have begun to scatter the walls of our favorite places, including JCrew, Kate Spade and Nordstrom! Can you believe it? So we thought we would send you a little reminder to enjoy the rest of the summer! You heard us. Wear your best whites, rock your favorite florals and wear your pops of punchy orange. Now is the time to enjoy your favorite bright colors, because the summer days are numbered!

A Sunny Pairing

As previously stated, we are constantly looking to nature for outfit coordination inspiration. Some of our favorite flowers have turned into the most gorgeous color combinations. It’s so fun to see the multi-color flowers popping up against the lush grass. This past weekend we saw some yellow daffodils and we were instantly inspired. Now we must warn you that different shades of yellow don’t go with every skin tone, but this sunny yellow is just perfect. Add some fun navy and blue accessories like a Kate Spade tote and fun baubles to pull the whole look together. Paint your nails a poppy pink. It just gives it a little something extra, don’t you think?

It’s a gorgeous Monday morning and our closets are singing! Yes, they are singing! We are ready to rock our nude patent pumps or wedges with WHITE skinnies and a bunch of different color combinations. At the moment we are head over heels for this tangerine, coral and teal combo. It’s so fresh! For spring we love to look for nature for inspiration when we mix and match sets, like this. That warm coral, pretty tangerine and calming teal are all natural colors found in nature and look absolutely stunning together. We hope you are mixing and matching today, as well!

We have waited a long time for this weather, it seems, but it is finally here! It’s no surprise that a few rainy days will be here to clean out the cobwebs of winter and welcome in the fresh flowers of spring. It’s time for us to do a few spring cleaning activities as well. Remember you don’t need to wear your LuLu Lemon sweat suit to the grocery store or to clean out the kids room. Rock a comfy pair of Not Your Daughters Jeans, a pair of Lucky Brand flats and a comfy wash and wear striped t shirt and you will be equally as comfortable.

As we have explained before there are only a few trends that that the Kyle Alexandra team approves of each season. Trends come and go, recycle over and over. There are only a few trends that actually make sense. Crop tops? No way. Platform sneakers? Yeah right. We are featuring a few trends, today, that would work well into your lifestyle! Bright colors are an essential for warmer weather, so bright lightweight cardigans, colored skinny jeans and punchy handbags are a must. The go to footwear for spring includes metallic, patent nude and navy. Black and white are a huge spring trend, so try to buy a pretty work dress like the one featured here for a classic look. White lace is another big trend, but you should be careful about the way you wear it. We suggest you go for a pretty white lace skirt or a pullover sweater. Stripes are nautical and a great way to incorporate color into your wardrobe. Pair a striped shirt with a colored pant! And statement jewelry isn’t going anywhere. Brands like Kate Spade and JCrew have come out with some gorgeous pieces. So what are you waiting for? It’s time to shop!
