Made For Walking

Untitled #31
All of these boots are made for walking!
Just like our coat discussion, there are many different types of boots that are essential for your winter wardrobe. Different boots for different occasions! For example, the boots in the center are perfect for a day of business meetings with a sheath dress or with riding pants for a night on the town. The bottom left and top right boots are great for casual days and long walks. They are comfortable and fashionable! For those stormy, wet mornings it’s essential to have a comfortable commuter boot. Hunters will keep you dry on your way to work (top left). And if you are in to the booty trend, but aren’t sure what style is flattering: look no further. The bottom right boots are fun for a dinner date! What do you think? Do you have different boots for different ocassions?

Must Haves Of The Moment

I think we can speak for everyone when we say that spring lasted a week! We are definitely not complaining about the beautiful, summer weather, however. As the weather changes from warm to sweltering, it’s important to be prepared. For drizzly, humid days we suggest you purchase a neutral trench, a pop-of-color rain boot and an adorable umbrella!
For winter it was easy to wear jewel tones, but now that we are well into June, you should be rocking more saturated tones. Hot pink, aqua, mint, teal, purple, green and blue are just some of this seasons hottest hues.
In order to wear color on color, you must wear a neutral or nude heel! Heat up your accessory collection with a pink bag, multi-color statement necklace or a pair of delicate flower earrings. You’re wardrobe will be singing with happiness when you add colorful pieces, like the ones above!

You know what they say – April showers bring May flowers!
So in preparation of a month where we may experience drizzly days, we have put together a little rainy day inspiration. As we transition to warmer weather you can put your heavy wool or cashmere coats away and break out your nude and navy trench coats. We love a green and pink color combo! Next time you visit the market and you want to stay dry just grab your umbrella and a pair of Hunter Wellies!
