Into The Spring With…

Untitled #126

Different sunnies! In different shapes and shades, because hopefully a change in season means – MORE SUN! We know, we know – it snowed. And man is it tough. This weather is not ideal, but last year we were buried deep in snow – some comparably – it’s a light dusting. So why not encourage the sun, send some positive, sunny vibes into the universe with a new pair of sunglasses. And the ones featured above are the ones we are currently crushing on! XO

A Breathe of Fresh Air

Untitled #64
One of our favorite parts of summer is the chance to get dressed up and hit the town. One thing I’ve always admired about Kyle is that she makes a special date night plan with her husband, Brian, for Wednesday night. It breaks up the week by allowing the two to reconnect and enjoy each others company. Plus – who wouldn’t want the opportunity to get out of the house and get a little dressed up? We’ve created a casual, yet VERY CUTE ensemble that is perfect for a date night or a wine night (with the girls). It’s flirty and fun! The perfect summer look.

Sunny Days

Untitled #61
Due to this hot, sticky weather – we’re inspired! Yes – inspired to cool off. Preferably by the pool or at the beach. A quick dip would solve the case of frizzy hair and sticky skin we have going on – in no time flat! So today we’ve rounded up a cute little poolside look. Pop your favorite magazines in your pool bag, grab your sunnies and hit the pool deck! You’re sure to cool OFF! XO

Colors of the Rainbow

Untitled #60

I don’t think we’ve ever been so excited that it’s Friday! Seriously – longest week ever? Or was it only us? It’s time to put our feet up and relax! You too? Good. We are glad to hear it. Today we’ve created a VERY colorful look! And although it’s colorful it’s still cohesive! First – let’s discuss the jewelry. A lot of jewelry that you see lining the shelves of Banana Republic and JCrew is neon this time of year. And a lot of women find it hard to pair that type of statement necklace with anything but white or black. However – just look at this look! It’s colorful, but still appropriate! So kick your Monday into high gear with a lot of color, but until then – enjoy a little R & R. Happy Weekend loves!

Put Together

Untitled #32
I think we can all agree that it’s fun to get dressed up. Every women has just a little more confidence when she’s wearing lipstick, tights and a flattering dress. Then there are those times when getting out of bed in freezing cold weather means wearing a cozy sweater. And we don’t hate it! At times it’s hard to wear a sweater, look fashion forward and put together. Are we right? So how do you spice up a sweater? First – we suggest it be a fun, bold color. It’s getting close to February so we have red on the mind. Add a red hot lip, black boots and a chic coat and you’re ready to take the city by storm.

Made For Walking

Untitled #31
All of these boots are made for walking!
Just like our coat discussion, there are many different types of boots that are essential for your winter wardrobe. Different boots for different occasions! For example, the boots in the center are perfect for a day of business meetings with a sheath dress or with riding pants for a night on the town. The bottom left and top right boots are great for casual days and long walks. They are comfortable and fashionable! For those stormy, wet mornings it’s essential to have a comfortable commuter boot. Hunters will keep you dry on your way to work (top left). And if you are in to the booty trend, but aren’t sure what style is flattering: look no further. The bottom right boots are fun for a dinner date! What do you think? Do you have different boots for different ocassions?

Summer Shoes

Untitled #82
Summer shoes can be tough. Other than a few pairs of flip flops, there are a few footwear essentials for the warmer weather. The nude and navy families are ideal for the hotter months. They tend to go with bright colors and pastels, as opposed to the jewel tones of fall and winter. The summer shoe basics include flip flops, sandals, flats, open toe wedge, strappy wedges and a patent pump. They transition quite nicely throughout your wardrobe and are perfect for trips to the beach, the office, a cocktail party, brunch and shopping!

A Casual Chambray

Untitled #79
We tend to post many ensembles that one would wear to work or a cocktail party. So today we’ve decided to pair down our summer look of the day into something a tad more casual. We all have a staple pair of white jeans. They really do go with everything! But, have you ever thought of pairing them with a JCrew chambray shirt? They are both neutrals, so it’s easy to spice up your outfit with colorful accessories. A pop of red flat? A spicy red lip? A statement earring? The sky is the limit!
