We always hear mixed reviews about makeup. Some women love to try new shades and colors, other disregard the products all together. And then there are some women who stick to routine because it’s what works! So we’ve decided to help you step outside the box by coming up with some different color pairing to help you with you experiment! Today’s story features a dark red scarlet lip, a pale pastel eye and cheek pairing and a nude nail. That way the lip stands out and the other features aren’t as bold. What do you think? Do you dare? Summer is a great season to try out different lip colors. You’re skin is (hopefully) sun kissed – meaning that their is less foundation and blush to worry about. All you need is a bit of tinted moisturizer, mascara and a pop of color lipstick! We adore three different lip colors – pinks, corals and red. The darker color red can be a little much at times – so try and pair it with a simple ensemble. We are currently coveting corals, however – they go with any tan! Pinks are the instant fall back color. They tend to pair with any outfit and are appropriate for most events. Pucker up! XOXO

March madness means something different for everyone. To your husband or the man in your life, basketball March madness means lots of television time. For YOU it means a major color moment. And that color? It’s green! Now, we’ve said it before, but all greens go together. How convenient? It’s the perfect color for springtime! And you can incorporate this color in so many different ways! How fun is that? So next time your out, pick up a mint colored sweater, emerald purse, poppy green phone case, lime pencil skirt, olive dress or apple colored necklace! Any of the above items would be a fun addition to your wardrobe!

Glamour girls like Taylor Swift, Madonna and Brooke Shields love a red lip. It trendy, glamorous and will take you from day to night with the swipe of a scarlet shade. There are so many different types of red to choose from, so be careful! If you tend to have fairer skin stay  away from reds with yellow undertones. If you tend to have darker skin – why not rock a reddish, brown color? So this holiday season – rock it! You won’t be sorry you tried it!

Yesterday we told you how to change over your closet for fall, and now we are bringing you the first of many beautiful looks that you can implement into your wardrobe. Jewel tones are best for saturated color combinations this fall, but we are kicking off our look of the day series with delicious neutrals! We urge you to be careful with wearing brown. Rich cognac colors tend to be our favorite. Pairing cognac leather with cream and camel makes for such a luxe look. It’s professional and fashion forward!

 Fall is here and if you have not already, it is time to switch up your make-up palette, nail polish colors and seasonal fragrance!   Here are few easy to apply and simple beauty products that we recommend that will leave you feeling illuminated and beautiful this fall season.  The Laura Mercier Illuminating Tinted Moisturizer is a fantastic bebe cream that will have you glowing for hours on end (don’t forget to the purchase the right brush to apply). We recently purchased and applied this rich, luxe nail polish color from Essie, called Stylenomics- and we are obsessed! It is that quintessential fall color that is dark, mysterious and sumptuous. At some point during the fall and winter lips may become chapped or dry.
