We often hear clients say that they struggle with mixing colors aside from wearing colors with neutrals (black, grey, cream, white, brown, navy). This is completely understandable, as it is safe to wear all neutrals with all different colors since the colors always match. However, you can create eye- catching, chic and stylish outfits by simply opting to pair different colors together. Colors mix well when they compliment each other. A color wheel is a great tool to learn how to combine colors, but we also suggest looking to nature. Flowers and flowering plants are wonderful inspirations, which you can see in the outfits shown here today. The pretty red dress and purple cardigan combination resemble that of a Purple & Red Bleeding Heart Flower. Another color mixture that we adore is teal and purple. You will see these colors in Dendrobium Orchids, another exquisite pairing. Lastly, we have paired a beautiful hunter green dress with a magenta cardigan, which is seen in so many flowering plants, such as a Magenta Cyclamen. So choose a color combination that you love, put on a pair of black tights on (our fave are the Spanxx kind!) and some black patent pumps and you will be be sure to turn heads…..it is time embrace combining colors and live colorfully!
